Altar Movement
Altar Movement is the community outreach arm of Altar Church, an Australian faith-based organisation operating under Altar Church’s registration as a not-for-profit with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
Altar Movement provides food and essential items to individuals and families experiencing hardship. Inspired by Isaiah 49:22, we exist to be a visible signal of care lifting and carrying people through practical provision when they need it most.
We serve with humility, dignity, and compassion, reflecting the servant heart of Christ:

What We Do & Who We Serve
Altar Movement provides practical support to individuals and families experiencing hardship.
Subject to availability and assessed need, we provide:

Our support is focused on practical provision only. We do not currently provide housing, financial assistance, or emergency services.
We serve anyone in need of essential support, regardless of background or belief. All requests are handled confidentially, respectfully, and with dignity.
